Oyé Vibe: Issue 1, Autumn 2016
View this email in your browser
It is with great pleasure that we welcome you to the first ever edition of the Oyé Vibe!

As the organisation and festival has grown, we find ourselves involved in more and more fantastic projects and events throughout the year and we thought, what better way to keep the Oyé Family informed than with a brand new newsletter.

So where do we start? Well, if you visited us at the festival in Sefton Park last June - thank you! Especially big thanks to those who stayed until the wet and bitter end! Oyé cannot exist without all of you and your incredible support.

The 2017 festival will be our 25th Anniversary edition (where has the time gone?!) and we have some exciting plans in store, not only for the festival weekend but elsewhere as well. We can't wait to let you know what we'll be up to.

But let's not get ahead of ourselves. There are still plenty of activities around Liverpool this year that we know you will love; some we're involved in and others we just wanted to share with you.

Thank you all for taking part in what we do and keeping Africa Oyé alive and thriving.

Peace and Blessings

Paul & The Oyé Team

The BAMER Group’s aim is to make sure that everyone who’s experiencing anxiety, stress, depression – or other forms of mental distress – can get access to the advice, information, support or advocacy they need, quickly and effectively, whilst having their cultural needs met.
